What You'll Do :
- Work collaboratively with a global team of engineers, product managers and designers
- Develop using modern web technologies (Java, Spring Framework, JavaScript)
- Develop using modern platform technologies (Kubernetes, AWS, Serverless)
- Work across the entire Everbridge platform, implementing new capabilities
- Collaborate across engineering teams and guide adoption of best practices within the team
- Participate in routine maintenance of the system to include software deficiency resolution
- Be a scrum team member and ensurethe timely completion of projects with good quality
What You'll Bring :
- 3+ years of engineering experience with backend application development in Java
- 1+ years of experience in a cloud-based deployment environment (we use AWS primarily)
- 1+ years of experience with containerization ( Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience working with DevOps automation tools (, GitLab CI / CD, Jenkins)
- 1+ years of experience with NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch
- Experience building Microservices
- Highly self-motivated and must be able to work independently or within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- English language fluency (oral and written)
