This opportunity will allow you to directly impact the digital transformation of the education sector in Spain, fostering trusted relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions.

You will lead the deployment of Azure solutions, includingAzure Lab Services for remote learning, to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Your work will not only increase Azure's utilization across educational platforms but also support the digital evolution of learning environments, ensuring a brighter future for students and educators alike.

In the Solution Area Specialist team, we are looking for specialist sellers with a passion for developing and winning market-making opportunities that deliver customer value and enable transformational customer outcomes.

As a Solution Area Specialist, you will develop transformational propositions with customers, work with leading partners and your peers to close deals.

This opportunity will allow you to accelerate your career growth, honing your solution sales and collaboration skills, and deepening your cloud expertise.

This role is flexible in that you can work e.g., up to 50%, up to 100%, etc. from home Alternative : This role is Microsoft onsite only.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications (RQs / MQs)

  • 5+ years technology-related sales or presales / technical sales experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • OR 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • Proven expertise in Azure or comparable cloud technologies

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 4+ years solution or services sales experience.
  • OR Account Management experience
  • OR 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

Responsibilities

  • Relationship : High quality KDM & C level business trusted relationship prioritized for Enterprise and EPA
  • Strong pipeline supporting quota all up by Solution Area and ensure at least 80% of Education Tracker metrics are green :
  • Drive Azure Lab Services and Windows Virtual Desktop as platforms for remote learning as key workloads.
  • Increase customer use of Azure through targeted scenarios & campaigns, and build D365, AI and Power Platform usage and customer adds.
  • Possess executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with education business and technical decision makers articulating and demonstrating technical propositions on how education institutions can digitally transform teaching and learning / student outcomes with Microsoft solutions both in small groups and large audiences
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and master new concepts and technologies to be able to impact their adoption and usage
  • Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-relevant solutions, with a technical understanding of competitive technologies to address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments
  • Experience in leading and driving technical solutions, orchestrating virtual selling teams where necessary, leveraging repeatable offerings that maximize revenue / market share / consumption opportunities and increase customer satisfaction
