You will have a key role in one of our development projects focusing on clinical development of new products for the treatment of chronic kidney diseases.
You will take active part in the scientific and strategic discussions and key responsibilities include : Represent Biostatistics independently in several cross-functional fora Proactively engage in scientific discussions and recommendations regarding innovative clinical trial designs, relevant data and endpoints, sample size considerations, and calculations Evaluating advanced statistical methodologies In your daily work, you will collaborate with e.
g. medical specialists, clinical pharmacology, pharmacometrics, market access, health technology assessment etc. It is therefore important that you clearly communicate statistical concepts and ideas to all our stakeholders.
You may also be directly involved in the clinical trial conduct of a larger outcome trial while mentoring less experienced colleagues and ensuring progress of the project.
Within Biostatistics you will be working closely with the international project statistician who has the overall scientific responsibility for our deliverables.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should have : strong background in mathematics and statistics corresponding to PhD level years of experience within clinical or biostatistical research It will be a strong advantage if you have experience : within the field of chronic kidney diseases in a pharmaceutical company in project management and supervision of colleagues with R, SAS or other programming languages On a personal level, you are open, curious, and solution oriented.
About the department Our Biostatistics organisation is people with the majority located in Denmark and India, and smaller teams in Spain, China, Japan, UK and US.
Primarily we perform our statistical work in-house, thus we offer a wide variety of statistical tasks and challenges and provide a large scientific community.
