You as the new Strategy Development Lead Jobs will report to our Head of RE&EV Strategy Development and Implementation on the development of the strategy for the Jobs Vertical, following Adevinta's global strategy and priorities and with inputs from local teams. Your scope will cover:
Strategy development
Coordination and support of local business development teams
Implementation of cross-country initiatives
Coordination with finance & M&A teams
Ad hoc support of AdEx and Vertical leadership.

What you'll do:
Support the Head of Strategy Development and Implementation on Adevinta’s Jobs Strategy Development and planning
Analyse business development opportunities, including M&A
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and industry developments in collaboration with the Market and Customer Intelligence team to identify potential growth opportunities
Work with local and verticals teams to gather data, perform analyses, and develop insights to inform strategic decision-making
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of different strategies and scenarios on our business performance
Track and monitor performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of our strategies and identify opportunities for improvement
Communicate recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership
Who you are:
You have a master’s degree in business (preferably), science, or engineering with a focus on strategic concepts.
You have 5-10 year experience in consulting, marketplaces, or classifieds strategy.
Your English is great, both verbal and written.
You are Proficient in analytical tools like Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
You have analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
You are able to quickly grasp concepts, engage personally, and think strategically
You are team-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
Working independently within a collaborative organizational structure.
For this role we do require that the new hire is currently a resident of Spain and you are entitled to work here (EU citizen, in possession of VISA, residence permit etc.)
