The Technical Center of AXA XL Risk Consulting is responsible for keeping updates with several local, regional, and international protection and prevention standards in property fire domain mainly and other lines of business (LoBs).
These highly technical standards are applied to internal underwriting guidelines used our internal AXA XL Underwriting teams worldwide to complete the work of identifying, preventing, and mitigating losses.
As Technical Center and Training Specialist you will support daily operations for the AXA XL Technical center and its Training department within an environment that fosters collaboration, customer service and colleagues’ development, focusing on excellence and creating a culture of continuous improvement.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Updating and administrate e-learning trainings on Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SharePoint management.Currently, the internal LMS is Cornerstone / YES Learning.
- Manage internal SharePoint portal pages relating to the AXA XL Risk Consulting LoB.
- Moderate and manage, record and report attendance relating to Monthly Property Risk Continuing Educational TEAMS Conferencing calls.
- Support the management of technical guidelines and procedures and the communication of them within the Risk Consulting teams
- Organize trainings, seminar and conferences
- Working with external entities such as the National Fire Protection Association and several others.
- Support ongoing innovative advancement within the LoBs or other AXA Entities

We are looking for someone who is willing to grow and learn continuously.
You will receive an initial training, as well as a continuous professional development plan relating to the use of Learning Management Systems, soft skills to moderate and manage trainings and Conferencing calls.
Required Skills and Abilities :
- Good level of English, Proficiency level both written and spoken. Other languages are considered a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in education and Learning, Communication, business administration, management engineering or closely related areas.
Or experience in technical training, fire science. Technical background (engineering or fire protection) will be considered a plus.
- Proficient Client Service experience.
- Communication, Listening and presentation skills to work with internal and external stakeholders (both institutions and privates)
- Good command of MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and other Intranet website tools.
- Digital Agility and Knowledge of e-learning system is highly evaluated.
- Organizational skills and project management in an international enviroment
- Motivated to learn and curiosity as you will be required to build a sound knowledge of fire protection and prevention standards and how they are being applied within AXA XL risk consulting;
understand how all the LoBs (Property, Construction, Machinery Breakdown, Marine, Casualty, etc.) operate and interact with each other’s.
