Mission :
The Technical Pre-Sales Consultant will deliver technical consultancy and pre-sales activities while transferring technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills.
The successful candidate will assist in all levels of technical account planning and accompany Sales Account Managers on customer meetings.
Working with the Toshiba Sales Team, your responsibilities will include technical input to formal written sales proposals and tender responses and the ability to present and differentiate product offerings at a technical level from the competition.
The ideal candidate will have experience in providing Technical Consultancy Services in a retail environment covering POS hardware & software solutions.
Experience in cloud based technologies would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Sales Team with customer facing technical pre-sales assistance.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations at all technical and business levels.
- Support Sales teams at external and internal customer facing events.
- Ability to demonstrate Toshiba solutions effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge.
- Design and deliver compelling Proof of Concepts (POC) in conjunction with the Professional Services Team.
- Compare competitive products to specify the most advantageous solutions for customers.
- Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and assist with technical content within proposals and tender responses.
- Keep abreast of retail market trends including product and competitor landscapes.

Essential :
- Proven Technical Pre-Sales Experience
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Proposal and Tender writing experience
- Ability to explain and present technical solutions at all levels
- Full drivers’ licence and willingness to travel
Desirable :
- Background in Retail POS Hardware and application
- Qualifications / experience in the following technologies
- Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Microsoft, Linux O / S
- POS driver stack (OPOS / JAVAPOS)
- Microservices Architecture
