A TOS Functional analyst is a professional responsible for understanding and analyzing the operational needs of a port terminal and translating them into clear and functional requirements for the design, development, implementation and improvement of a terminal operation system.
This person works closely with end users, business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure that the system provides the right solutions to optimize and automate terminal operations.
The key point is a deep understanding of the port terminal operations especially in automobiles .
WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ️
- 5 Years of experience in similar position
- Strong knowledge of port terminal operations
- Communication skills , both written and verbal
- Analytical ability to identify problems and opportunities
- Familiarity with the modeling process
- Basic knowledge of systems and technology infrastructure
NICE TO HAVE
You have good communication skills in English
You have experience in TOS focused on auto
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Requirements analysis : Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to understand their needs and translate those needs into clear functional requirements
- Process modeling : Create visual representations of workflows and processes within the terminal to identify opportunities for improvement or automation
- Documentation : Write detailed functional specifications to guide the development team.
- Testing : Coordinate and, on occasion, perform system testing to ensure that the system meets requirements and functions properly in the terminal environment.
- Training and education : Assist in training users on the TOS system and ensure that they understand new features or changes to the system.
- Support to the technical team : Act as a reference point for the development team, helping to clarify doubts about requirements or how a particular feature should work
- Change management : Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on the system and terminal operations.
- Upgrades and continuous improvement : Keeping informed of trends and developments in terminal management to propose and adopt improvements to the system.
