Web Design & UX Manager

We are looking for a Web Design & UX Manager to manage DNV Supply Chain & Product Assurance (SCPA) divisions web management, design and UX activities.

This position is based in any DNV European office with a preference for London, Oslo or Barcelona and will be responsible for developing SCPA’s strategic roadmap for our website with a focus on creating the optimal user experience.

The Web Design & UX Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of a high-performing website that provides compelling experiences for our prospects and customers, aligning with our business goals.

This position demands a strategic approach, technical expertise, and collaboration across global and cross-departmental content communities.

Reporting to the Global Head of Digital Marketing, the Web Design & UX Manager will work to meet business requirements, goals, and KPIs and will have the overall responsibility to manage and monitor the website, content, performance, quality, compliance, and resources across various platforms and markets.

We are looking for a creative, versatile, and analytical professional with excellent communication, influencing, project management skills, and experience working with diverse stakeholders and teams.

The Web Design & UX Manager will have a range of responsibilities, including :

Website Strategy and User-Centred Design :

  • Manage the corporate website and its role in the broader digital strategy, aligning it with global and regional goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a user-centred Web Design strategy for an intuitive user experience (Optimizely).

Personalization, Template Development, and CMS Management :

  • Develop new page templates globally and regionally to enhance visitor experiences, collaborating with SEO and content strategists.
  • Apply adapted web experiences for specific visitor profiles to deliver a personalized, relevant, and valued web experience.
  • Maintain and optimize the core CMS master site portfolio, adhering to platform governance and standards.
  • Drive continuous performance improvements in collaboration with the wider content community.

Project Management and Customer Journey :

  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization's website, overseeing day-to-day maintenance and administration.
  • Coordinate and execute ongoing website development projects with internal resources and external agencies.
  • Define the website's role in the customer journey, utilizing feedback tools to design and improve UX / UI.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Continuous Improvement :

  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders, marketing operations specialists, and data insights to define business requirements for web enhancements.
  • Utilize journey and page experience analysis tools to enhance core user journeys and page templates.
  • Implement advanced improvements and optimizations identified through organic search research and performance analysis.
  • Apply continuous improvements based on user research, insights, and testing through web conversion optimization.

Performance Monitoring and KPIs :

  • Work with the Marketing Operations Specialist to utilize feedback from third-party applications for performance monitoring.
  • Design and track KPIs that drive engagement growth, meeting business needs.

Qualifications :

  • University degree or relevant qualification in managing corporate websites, ideally B2B.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise-level CMS platforms, preferably Optimizely.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and implementing website strategies.
  • Clear communication, message simplification, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS coding, and understanding of java functions.
  • Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Console, and web experimentation tools.
  • Solid understanding of A / B testing and Conversion Rate Optimization techniques.
