TO STRENGTHEN OUR TEAM FOR IT INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES
Job Description
You will support our IT team both internally and in server operations at one of our customers. The focus is mainly on open source.
The following activities will be your main focus :
- Operation and maintenance of servers and clients
- Operation and maintenance of automation infrastructure
- Operation and maintenance of storage and virtualization systems (NetApp & Proxmox).
You will mainly work with the following systems / software solutions :
- Proxmox VE and PBS
- Puppet
- Foreman
- OPNsense
- Wikijs and Confluence
- Netbox
- Snipe-IT
The work is divided between three locations :
- Remote work in home office
- On-site in our offices in Esslingen
- and at our customer in Sindelfingen (shared company cars can be used).
Your profile
- You have a degree in a computer science degree program or in business information systems or have a vocational qualification as an IT specialist
- You are proficient in the use of Linux, preferably Ubuntu and have in the best case a certification (LPIC-1 / LPIC-2).
- You are familiar with IT security environments / systems (firewall, VPN).
- You identify yourself as a service provider for our internal and our external customers
- You are a team player, solution-oriented and like to improve existing systems and infrastructures
- You speak fluent German, have a good command of English and a confident and friendly demeanor
