As a B2B Credit Controller, your role is vital in ensuring successful revenue collection from corporate clients across Europe.
You'll collaborate with Commercial Finance, Accounting and the B2B Team to establish effective credit control processes.
You'll provide valuable insights on credit control activities, reducing overdue debtor balances and meeting monthly targets.
Your responsibilities include :
- reviewing the B2B customer accounts in the accounting system
- reporting any payment issues to management and the B2B team
- follow up on overdue invoices and payments
- reconciliation of the payments with open invoices after clarification with the customer and / or B2B team
- overseeing a large debtors list, minimising debt, and optimising B2B financial operations.
- analysing financial data to create comprehensive reports for senior management and propose system optimisations for continuous improvement
Your expertise in financial regulations and company policies will be crucial during audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE :
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in a comparable Credit Control role / accounting (with focus on B2B accounts receivables)
- Familiarity with collections processes and proficiency in using systems, including Excel, Navision, and Business Central ERPs.
- Excellent communication skills
- You have pronounced analytical skills and the ability to navigate complexity : effectively document, make sense of, analyse root causes of complex issues, processes and data, respond to complex / ambiguous situations by identifying and initiating appropriate remediation and follow ups
- You present a can-do attitude and the ability to come up with new initiatives and ideas
- You are a highly organised, self-motivated team player who is able to work under pressure
- You are comfortable liaising with different teams within the organisation
- Business fluency in English (German and / or French language proficiencies are an advantage)
