Why SoftwareOne? SoftwareOne the global leader in Cloud Services and Solutions is seeking Cloud Presales Consultant to join a well-established Technology Services team that play a pivotal role in the success of our business.

The SoftwareOne Presales Consultant Cloud Specialist is responsible for driving and co-owning Hybrid Cloud Solutions sales and business development within his / her assigned region.

The role functions as a partnership with the Business Development Manager Team and as a result is not limited to traditional overlay role restrictions.

The Presales Consultant Cloud Specialist is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to developing the technical solutions business in the region.

The Presales Consultant Cloud Specialist is the technical lead in the region for pre-sales (both professional services and managed services) customer engagements for the respective region.

The role also serves as the liaison between the assigned sales team and customers and the professional services delivery resources which include both in-house and partner delivered services.

The Presales Consultant Cloud Specialist will scope professional services opportunities and assist in the creation and delivery of proposal and Statements of Work (SoW) to customers.

The Presales Consultant Cloud Specialist will be required to maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge across a broad set of foundational technologies as well as at least one specific technology set to serve as the subject matter expert for that specific subject on a national and / or global scale.

The role The role A Business Development Executive (BDE) is a solutioning expert against customer problems / business needs.

The BDE identifies, develops, and lands opportunities for defined portfolio elements in cooperation with Account Management (AM).

The BDE’s focus is new business with both new and existing customers. For existing customers, the Sales cycle is started by the Account Management.

New customers must be hunted by the BDE, but BDE’s always work in a team with the AM. Responsibilities Establish relationships with new and existing customers and secure new business in the assigned portfolio element(s) .

Can engage with stakeholders from IT all the way to C-level. Drive the entire Sales Cycle from initial Customer Engagement till Contract Closing for new customers.

For existing customers, Sales Cycle is started by Account Manager . Work with Account Managers to ensure that the overall account strategy and goals will be followed and achieved.

Maintain a very detailed level of relevant knowledge on the assigned portfolio element(s) to have meaningful and relevant conversations with customers and prospects.

Work with Technical Architects / Practice Leaders to ensure that we design the right solutions for our customers. Provide feedback to Account Management on ways to decrease the Sales Cycle, enhance Sales, and improve company brand and reputation.

Construct service contracts and associated commercials / cost model based on scope and customer’s desired outcomes. What we need to see from you What we need to see from you 3+ years of relevant experience with Azure solutions (Cloud Services).

Proficient with complex IaaS / PaaS or SaaS migrations. Familiar with applications modernizing concepts from virtual machines into containers, running on, e.

g. - container orchestration platforms or App Services. Can explain agility, elasticity, cost models and how geographic expansion can be achieved.

Can articulate use cases of cloud specifics to the customers industry and understand where the customer is on their cloud transformation journey.

Can understand and identify Security and Microsoft 365 solutions requirements Possess working knowledge of general principles of IT Industry Standards (Agile / scrum working methods) Ability to communicate the value of the solution in terms of financial return, differentiating value and impact on customer technical and business goals· Entrepreneurial Mindset as we constantly challenge ourselves in our mindset, portfolio and services.

Ability to effectively manage multiple field sales resources and / or engagements. Ability to work within tight timeframes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Open-minded, passion to learn and share, flexible thinker. Motivated, approachable, and positive team influence.
