Job Description

We’re regularly looking for new talent with business travel experience and GDS knowledge to offer our customers 1st line support on our Travel Technology Solutions (portals, surveys, mobile applications) and online booking tools.

Client Technology Site Administrator

Full time, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Luxembourg LU, Germany, France, Spain

As part of a virtual team of Client Technology Site Administrators across Europe you help our users and support them on navigation, processes and features and solve problems with applications.

For this role you need to bring in Business Travel experience, GDS knowledge and a good command of the English and French or German language.

A normal day in Client Technology 1st level support will give you a great various of tasks around the booking tools BCD offers.

You will not only work with several bookings tools, you are also the first contact for Travelers, Account Managers, Travel Agents or the Travel Management of each company we support.

I love the huge amount of different topics and issues you work with. That way you will never stop learning.

The issue can start with a normal password reset which is solved really quick, but you can also get requests about profile changes, a flight which is missing in the tool or anything which needs a closer investigation where you need to make any test-bookings or check the profile in TSPM as well.

While working in Client Technology 1st level support, you really get to know how many companies BCD supports, how many and how different tools we offer and how many different function they provide for the traveler and booker.

You work with small companies where you mostly get to know that one person who is doing all the bookings and you will work with huge companies where the errors are mostly general and need a lot of investigation.

As a Client Technology Site Administrator, you will

  • Answering questions regarding Travel Technology Solutions and online booking tools
  • Assess and register incidents and if needed escalated to 2nd level support
  • You consult available documentation and process description to make sure the correct answer is given
  • Requests of password resets and Company credit card administration
  • Advise users of preferred suppliers
  • Travel Policy modifications and updating company locations

About you

  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Excellent language skills spoken and written in English
  • Good command of German or French
  • Good knowledge of Amadeus is required, a 2nd or 3rd GDS system is preferred
  • Team player with great empathy for customer need
