Within Digital Client Services , it is our mission to help both our internal and external customers achieve their operational and sustainability goals by harnessing the power of digital tools and solutions.
Primary Function :
The Digital Client services Connectivity and Order entry Specialist will be responsible for the connection and support of water treatment systems into our VEOLIA Asset Performance Management (APM) platform, InSight, and for purchasing orders processing and ensure invoices payment.
This cloud-based platform provides advanced data and analytics to water treatment professionals, helping them make better business decisions, eliminate unplanned downtime, and lower operating costs with remote monitoring.
Key Responsibilities :
The Connectivity and Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for the following duties :
Follow the SAP indirect purchasing orders process to incorporate Purchase orders from the Digital team when required
Assess the invoices process ensuring payments are on time and supporting the Financial operational reporting
Provide expert remote technical support to Field Service Representatives, Account Managers, and customers to enable water treatment equipment and chemical tanks and pumps deployments, configurations, and troubleshoot data logging to ensure data connectivity & quality is well used by our Field and client team.
In order to support water treatment remote operations, lead the connectivity of parameters from various water treatment applications into our Assets Performance and Analytics Platform and work on their connectivity maintenance and troubleshooting
Work in a multidisciplinary team that includes Field Services, PLC automation, process engineering, electrical engineering, controls engineering and project management to deliver InSight projects.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical engineering, Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Science (or equivalent field) from an accredited university or college.
- Possess written & verbal communication skills in English.
- Has experience in processing SAP orders and invoices and reporting them
- Demonstrate project management coordination skills with other cross functional team members
ES) - Possess basic knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. types of IP addresses).
Desired skills / Qualifications (nice to have) :
- Possess written & verbal communication skills in French.
- 1 - 2 years of technical subject matter expert of SaaS Platform / IT customer support experience.
- Problem-solving skills and good troubleshooting skills on device hardware and software.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; Consummate Team Player; Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of teams and individuals in global locations.
- Some water process knowledge of water treatment processing technologies, like Reverse Osmosis, Drinking Water Ultra Filtration plants, Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) wastewater plants, Cooling Towers, Boilers, or Wastewater plants.
- Ability to understand Process diagrams, P&IDs, Electrical engineering drawings, and network architecture drawings.
