The Project Kuiper Europe Consumer Business is looking for a talented individual to lead the Spain and Portugal consumer business.
This role is responsible for launching, scaling, and operating the residential broadband service for Spanish and Portuguese consumers.
A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization and adept at understanding how businesses work in Spain and Portugal.
We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, especially in consumer related products.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop the go-to-market strategy, business models, and distribution plans to launch the Project Kuiper residential broadband service in Spain and Portugal
- Analyze, develop, and recommend consumer service plans, solutions, and models
- Engage in business development efforts and contract negotiations required to launch residential broadband service in Spain and Portugal
- Develop bottom-up operating plans, pricing strategy, and demand forecasts
- Deliver comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders
- Prepare detailed business cases for justification of new opportunities
- Partner with legal, tax and regulatory to engage in business partnerships and local regulatory efforts
- Once operational, meet business goals, and deliver a fantastic customer experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Extensive experience of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Extensive experience of launching and scaling new technology products, services, or businesses
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem
- Extensive experience in technology, media, or telecommunications; satellite internet; or subscription services
