We are looking for a finance profile to be focused on Credit Monitoring & Cash Collection functions in Smart Infrastructure, working in close collaboration with other businesses in Siemens Spain.
The position will be preferably based in Barcelona and is to be filled as soon as possible.
Which role will you play?
You will have the responsibility of executing operational bookkeeping tasks with focus on Accounts Receivable, for the assigned business. Specifically, your main activities will include among others:
Open accounts and follow up clearance of outstanding, checks past due- and overdue accounts.
Check with respective customers for resolving account discrepancies, as a first point of contact.
Request customer financial statements, references, credit agency reports, and review with team leader for potential changes in credit limits.
Produce statements of accounts and regular account reconciliation, in line with defined accounting guidelines.
Use on-line systems tools for follow up and proactive collections.
Cooperate with responsible sales organization in order to clarify issues.
Contribute to balance sheet and P&L closing.
May cooperate with banks in defined subject’s matters.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
Strong acumen in relevant financial processes, value flows and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and reasoning skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional senior stakeholders proactively and effectively.
Goals and results driven with a passion for digitalization in finance.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability and assertiveness, working with autonomy, proactivity and a constructive attitude.
SAP knowledge and experience required.
Strong skills in MS Office.
Fluent (business level) both in English and Spanish.
