Tasks
- You definedetailed project plans with relevant milestones for major projectsin the field of data management, especially in master datamanagement (MDM), data governance, data warehouse and analyticsplatforms / data lakes.
- You are responsiblefor continuously monitoring the progress of projects and takingproactive measures to minimize risks and solve problems
- You take responsibility for data projects and lead andmanage cross-functional teams of business and IT experts with afocus on the development and optimization of data managementsolutions.
- You ensure a positive teamculture and targeted further development of team members to achievethe set project goals.
- You are responsiblefor clear and effective communication with internal and externalproject stakeholders to ensure that all relevant parties areinformed about the project status on an ongoing basis and in atarget group-oriented manner.
- You identifyand translate communication requirements from stakeholders intoproject governance and planning.
- Implementeffective risk management and quality control mechanisms to ensuredelivered solutions meet data management requirements and projectobjectives.
- Coaching, consulting and furtherdevelopment of the project manager colleagues in relevant projectmanagement functions round off your range of tasks.
You will alsobe responsible for the continuous improvement of the methodologytoolbox and PMO-relevant processes.
Requirements
- You havea degree in computer science, business informatics, economics,industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of experience in the projectmanagement of complex, cross-functional data projects, ideally inthe areas of master data management, data governance, datawarehouse and analytics platforms / data lakes.
- You can demonstrate experience in managing internal andexternal project partners
- You have a provenhigh level of conflict resolution skills and experience incommunicating with different target groups and management levelsand have experience in escalation and de-escalation management.
- Knowledge of the processes of a utilitycompany and in business IT is an advantage (but not a must).
- You have a high degree of initiative, asense of responsibility, the ability to work independently anddecision-making skills.
- You are a teamplayer with a reliable way of working and very good, activecommunication skills in a demanding work environment, also inEnglish if required.
- You have the ability tomotivate and harmonize the needs of different stakeholders
- You have proven experience with appropriatePMO tools, such as MS Project.
