About the Role : We are looking for an eCommerce Project Manager (f / m / d) to join our Medical Division team in Barcelona who will be the primary business point of contact for any eCommerce related topics (e.

g. EDI, eInvoicing, OCR) and who will drive new and enhance existing eCommerce initiatives within the EMEA Medical Products Division.

Through careful prioritization, the result of these initiatives will ensure compliance, effectiveness and increase operational efficiency (for customer and Gore) and standardization of eCommerce processes and systems where applicable.

This position will be located at our facility in Barcelona.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and communicate an eCommerce strategy for MPD EMEA based on current and expected future customer needs and mandates in alignment with other regions as it pertains to overall strategy, KPIs and approach to partner selection
  • Primary point of contact for the business for any eCommerce platform in Gore MPD EMEA and liaison with internal functions regarding new requests
  • Project management for implementation of new eCommerce efforts including new transaction types to an existing connection and efforts around eCommerce master data, e.g. product catalogues
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with eCommerce partners. Provide input to Procurement on partner selection and perform regular performance reviews and follow up on any issues, in collaboration with business users
  • Maintain a documented inventory on current eCommerce partners, including services, costs and overall performance
  • Maintain and establish KPI s for eCommerce partners and the MPD EMEA business including metrics creation and data analytics to identify improvement opportunities for existing and new eCommerce solutions
  • Maintain an external landscape roadmap (legal and business mandates) and recommend corresponding prioritization and resourcing
  • Build a network across the EMEA region to multiply eCommerce knowledge locally
  • Advocate for eCommerce and provide relevant level of education to market facing Associates
  • Customer visits to MPD key accounts to understand their needs and requests as needed

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years working experience within an international business environment with a proven record of 3 years spent on project management (ideally for EDI deployments)
  • Proven Analytical skills to create, maintain and analyse metric
  • Advanced technical knowledge regarding eCommerce solutions such as eInvoicing, EDI, OCR ideally integrated in ERP systems like JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and SAP
  • System acumen with an ability to create and understand business rules for new and existing eCommerce solutions
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external providers, able to identify and document strengths and weaknesses and overall value
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Fluent in English, any other language is an asset
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices
  • Ability to travel 15%
