The international business - backed by a leading investment group are seeking a asset manager with strong financial and commercial skills to support the European solar portfolio, based in Madrid.
The Role :
This role will role into the Commercial Asset manager and focus on the construction and operational solar PV assets.
Contract management of key project agreements, including project finance and PPA agreements.
Setting up various reporting templates, processes, and procedures during the construction and operational phase
Working closely with the construction and technical Asset Management teams to ensure the overall commercial implementation and performance of assets
Working closely with colleagues from the finance team to support in accurate financial reporting
Managing the budgeting process with regular forecast updates and review of funding drawdowns for the construction assets.
Forecasting cash flows and cash needs with the support of the internal finance team
Supporting PPA contract management, with a particular focus on revenue collection and reporting compliance
Update and own the operating financial model assumptions
The Individual :
Experience in the renewable energy market, preferably in solar PV
Experience and knowledge of accounting, specifically SPV accounting
Be comfortable with financial models and can adapt existing models, including advanced excel skills
Have a working knowledge of typical project contractual frameworks (including SPAs, PPA, Facility Agreements, insurance, O&M and EPC contracts), the regulatory environment and how the industry operates
Be fluent in Spanish and English
