forma de trabajoWe are seeking a Financial Controller, supporting the Controlling team closing process around revenues and cost, Trial balance reviews, audits, reconciliations, intercompany process and other local processes.
This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office), the office is based in Barcelona (Poblenou), with limited travel to Amsterdam.
What you’ll do:
The Spanish financial controlling team (3 people) is responsible for a broad range of Controlling activities in Spain, very well connected with local teams (FP&A, legal, HR) as well as the Central Regional Controlling team in Amsterdam, Central Functions in Barcelona and Shared Services in Romania and India.
Your responsibilities will be:
Delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings by working closely with all internal and external Financial Controllers and Analysts
Onestream and SAP S4 HANA reporting
Revenue controlling & accounting
Trial Balance review and flux analysis
Controlling and posting of Allocations and cross charges
Project accounting
Local statutory reporting and audits
Liaise & report to local authorities on local required reporting and submissions.
You be part of the team of 3, you will report directly to the senior controller in Spain.
Who you are:
Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting and/or controlling role, preferably in an international global environment
You have earned a bachelor or master’s degree in the areas of Controlling or Finance & Accounting.
Knowledge of IFRS
Strong analytical (excel) skills and an affinity with numbers
Extended experience working with accounting software (SAP S4 HANA preferred)
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
The role will be based in Barcelona, with limited travel to Amsterdam
