Global Strategy Project Management Support

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

4PL is looking for a Project Manager to support their growing team. This position can sit anywhere for the right candidate, location is not an issue.

Your key responsibilities :

• Support in the coordination and successful delivery of Global Strategy projects
• Coordinate cross-functional, cross-regional teams throughout all project phases
• Apply best fit project execution strategies (agile vs. waterfall vs. hybrid) based on individual requirements per project
• Actively monitor and report project progress and define measures for escalation / prioritization
• Design and support project coordination meetings, events, prepare presentations in support of project needs
• Ensure that all project team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively
• Ensure the use of JAS’ project tool WRIKE by all project partners during the project phase
• Foster a culture based on trust and accountability
• Support the creation of Project Management standards with regards to planning, execution, and documentation together with the global JAS Project Management Community and the global PMO

Your ideal qualifications :

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or other related fields
• Multiple years of proven experience in international project and / or program management
• Strong familiarity with Project Management software, tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively paired with excellent communication skills at all levels
• A natural networker with great interpersonal skills which enable to work closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Critical thinking
• Knowledge about Logistics / Forwarding business and processes beneficial
• Fluency in English, proficiency in a further language beneficial
