We're looking for an HR Assistant to join our international HR Team in Barcelona.
This is an internship role aimed at people currently studying a degree in Labour Relations in a Catalan University. We also consider students of a Law degree, so long as they have a Labour Law specialization, or previous HR internship experience.
As an HR Assistant, you will :
- Assist in the daily operations of the HR department :
- Compile and update employee records and documentation.
- Prepare and deliver contracts (new hires, contract renewals, extensions or changes) and other HR related documents
- Manage Social Security movements in the CASIA system
- Manage employee HR-related queries according to internal procedures as well as the applicable labour law regulations
- To provide support to other HR procedures as required
Requirements
- Studying a Labour Relations Degree in a Catalan public university (UPF, UB, UPC...), and be able to sign an internship agreement with them (please note you will need to have completed at least half of your ECTS)
- Living in Barcelona, or within commuting distance
- Available to start in January 2024
- Fluent Spanish and English, both spoken and written
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Organizational skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Experience is good to have but not a requirement. You do need to be motivated though, and a fast learner !

What we offer :
- Start date : January 2024
- Contract type : Internship contract agreed with your university. The duration will depend on how many hours can you use, at a rate of 6,3 € per hour, or as required by the Internship program of your University
- Working hours : a minimum of 25h / week, schedule based on your availability.
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, some weeks your hours will be between 8am and 4pm, and other weeks between 9am and 6pm
- Hybrid working model : once concluded your initial training, you will be able to work from the office 2 days per week, and from home the rest of days
