Job Description

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for delivering quality HR programs and services to the CHEP European Central Functions.

The position holder is responsible for providing strategic and operational services and advice across all facets of HR including workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, salary review, engagement, inclusion & diversity, recognition, talent management and learning & development.

Your responsibility :

  • Provide responsive support and advice to managers on policies, programs and processes,
  • Engage with the business on workforce planning and development including talent management and succession planning,
  • Partner with the business to develop and implement people and organisational solutions to influence the culture and performance of the business,
  • Coach and support managers to develop their teams through capability uplift and engagement,
  • Identify strategies to address people related issues / needs,
  • Oversee the execution of annual processes including PDP, Salary Review and Pulse survey and actions,
  • Lead the continuous improvement and enhancement of HR services to improve outcomes for the business and ensure compliance,
  • Partner with the HR Director, HR Shares Services Lead and Functional Leadership teams to align global HR service delivery to local business needs and priorities,
  • Partner with Centres of Expertise (COE) to support Reward and Talent & Learning initiatives with managers and employees,
  • Work alongside Initiative Leads to ensure all aspects of the People plan is accounted for and delivered over the life cycle of the Initiative, working closely with local HR.

Our Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline,
  • 3-5 years related experience in Human Resources,
  • Experience of HR systems, Workday preferable,
  • Demonstrated leadership experience,
  • Desirable : Experience of Change Management programs and working across a region,
  • Ability to influence stakeholders,
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Excellent relationship building skills,
  • In-depth knowledge of HR solutions and programs,
  • Ability to work comfortably autonomously,
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
  • Languages : English is a must, any other European language is a nice to have.
