In the Social Services Application Development functional area ofthe Data Processing department at our head office in Kassel, we arelooking to fill a position as of the earliest possible date as a
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (m / f / d)
to be filled.
The department is responsible,among other things, for the development and support ofself-developed data processing procedures to support theperformance of tasks by our employees (m / f / d).

Your tasks :
The main focus of theadvertised position is the technical definition and development ofdata processing procedures. Your range of tasks includes the
- Collaboration in one of ourdevelopment teams in the development and implementation ofindividual and complex client-server or web-based software
- Participation in planning and conception inJIRA, as well as documentation in Confluence
- Individual programming of software elements based on secure, stableand established technologies, but also taking current technologytrends into account
- Close cooperation withteam colleagues (m / f / d) and project management
- Collaboration in cross-divisional projects of the StateWelfare Association of Hesse, but also with the Rhineland andWestphalia-Lippe Regional Associations
We require the following :
Completed technical / university studies in the field of computerscience, business informatics, administrative informatics orcomparable courses of study or a comparable qualification with manyyears of practical application in the above-mentioned areas ofresponsibility
We expect the following fromyou :
- Comprehensive knowledge andpractice
- in the architecture of modernsoftware systems
- in object-oriented softwaredevelopment and the use of corresponding methods
- in dealing with SQL databases (especially Oracle) andapplication servers
