The profile will be integrated in a young International Research Project’s Office and reporting to the Head of the Office.
The person will provide administrative support in the pre-award phase and will ensure follow-up of projects implementation.
Project preparation tasks (40%) :
Administrative support to researchers in preparing proposals for different International Research calls (Horizon Europe, European partnerships, NIH, private foundations, etc.
Review of call requirements.
- Support in partner’s search initiatives : publication and management of expertise offers in different platforms.
- Budget review, giving support to researchers in maximizing call possibilities.
Management of ongoing projects (60%) :
Assist academic leads in the effective and timely starting of granted projects : support in the preparation of required project documents, both external (Declaration of Honor, Grant agreement, Consortium Agreements, etc.
and internal (contracts, reporting templates, etc.).
- Budget management and administration : personnel costs, other direct costs, etc. Financial reporting and audit.
- Implementation of time recording system for Research Projects.
- Support to researchers in monitoring the overall progress of on-going projects regarding milestones and deliverables, ensuring their timely submission.
Support in the elaboration of technical interim and final reports.
Overview of institutional communication actions related to projects.
Requirements
- Official Bacherlor’s Degree in Business or Law fields : Economics, Business Management and Administration, Law, International relations, Marketing, Politics
- Training related to Horizon Europe : financial management, IPR, etc.
- C1 Espanish and C1 English
Professional Experience
- 2 years’ experience in research project’s administration or management (EU projects are an advantage).
- Cost control experience.
- Experience in Project Management and in principles and techniques of EU projects planning.
