Purpose of the position

 

 

MacGregor's Global Services Division is looking for an energetic, positive, customer-centric, and sales-oriented Junior Account Manager to promote and sell the organisation's products, focusing mainly on spare parts and services. This position is the front line of the respective customer contacts. Our new colleague will have a mentor to help with onboarding and provide constant guidance and support. 


The position reports to the Regional Account Manager

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Pursue sales leads, and plan existing and new customer visits to meet sales target levels;
  • Negotiate prices, delivery times, and other related details and conclude sales orders;
  • Identify and assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services;
  • Expand customer portfolio and contact prospective clients; 
  • Meet or exceed sales budgets;
  • Plan and execute regularly scheduled customer visits in agreement with management;
  • Prepare visit reports from all client meetings;
  • Collect and share all relevant market and customer information and feedback;
  • Build excellent  and positive customer relationships;
  • Work daily with company CRM system (Salesforce);
  • Work closely with team members and internal stakeholders across Northern Europe.
     

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Educational background or relevant commercial/sales experience;
  • Experience within the industry or technical understanding is an advantage
  • 2+ years of sales, direct sales, or B2B sales related experience;
  • Fluency in English - written and spoken;
  • Good understanding of Dutch;
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Salesforce is a plus;
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-changing environment;
  • Customer focussed, structured, proactive, efficient, and organised professional with a positive attitude.
