Mission :
The aim of this position is to lead successfully the implantation of an automation process in a manufacturing plant and support other Department people in innovation projects.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation of automatization projects in the plants.
- Define the automatized process, layout, machinery involved, operator tasks, calculation of capacities.
- Preparation of specifications, initiation and technical support of the purchasing process as well as close professional coordination with suppliers.
- Acceptance of the systems and tools at the suppliers' premises.
- Accompaniment of delivery, set-up and start-up at the plant in close cooperation with the plant launch manager.
- Performance tests (Run @ Rate) with the aim of release and transfer to production.
- Responsibility for complete documentation during the entire development process.
What we are looking for :
- Engineering Degree in Electrical, Industrial or similar.
- English and Spanish (High level).
- Experience in the role in automotive industry (3 years).
- Knowledge of robot and / or PLC programming is an advantage.
- Knowledge of artificial vision tools is an advantage.
- Experience in creating a layout plan in AutoCAD or similar.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to travel.
