We are searching for an experienced Procurement and Cost Manager that is used to operating in an agile and challenging environment and that can drive change and embraces new challenges to move their area of responsibility forward.

The ideal candidate has broad experience working within both procurement and cost management. Experience from purchase to pay and building solid processes in that area is a benefit.

You are ready to be an integral part in developing Intrums procurement organization to be both a strategic business partner to the key stakeholders within the business and help lay the foundation for also encompassing cost management.

The role will be a key part of the current cost program as well as building the future organization that will enable any actions taken to be long term sustainable.

Your responsibilities will include supporting managing global procurement and cost projects as well as playing a significant role in the roll-out of the procurement and sourcing modules of our new global ERP system.

The future structure we are building should also include a stronger element of cost management alongside procurement. The long term intention is to develop the cost management part of the procurement function into a team.

The position is part of the Global procurement function and will report into the Global Procurement Director. You are expected to be a self-starter and be able to work independently in projects, build and develop new processes as well as improve current processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the continued development of the procurement function by continuing to develop the current processes and embedding new cost management and cost control processes into them
  • Lead the development of cost management within the company. This would entail short term improvements but also a long term plan and vision on how this area should be built.
  • Support the procurement analyst to develop relevant KPIs and build relevant reporting to measure procurement performance and results
  • Contribute with practical work in cost management and procurement projects, mainly on global level. This could cover leading specific projects and / or work streams within larger projects.
  • Support the cooperation with local and regional procurement teams as well as other teams across the group
  • Support group-wide strategic projects from a procurement and cost management perspective

Requirements :

  • 5+ years experience within procurement and / or cost management
  • Experience from procurement and / or cost management within services
  • Experience from purchase to pay (P2P) processes
  • Experience from implementation and / or usage of P2P and S2C tools
  • Experience from spend analysis and procurement and cost management reporting.
  • Experience working within a multi-national company
  • Experience in driving large-scale change projects and cost management optimization
  • Experience in communicating and collaborating with senior management and stakeholders
  • Background from a similar or adjacent industry preferable
  • Experienced user of Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal. Other language skills from our markets are a benefit
