This position will be responsible for the program management of the delivery of new product selection. The role will focus on (1) developing and managing the project timelines from new product concept to production manufacturing, launch and scale up, (2) working directly with suppliers and internal cross functional stakeholders to create and manage the project timelines to successful execution of launch (solving blockers, anticipating obstacles to delivery, managing trade-offs), as well as (3) coordinating external regulatory and creative agencies ensuring key milestones are met.
This role requires some previous experience in project management of consumer packaged goods development and manufacturing.
The individual must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills, with proven effectiveness in influencing and steering diverse cross functional teams, a high bar for innovation, quality and a strong customer obsession.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with working with ambiguity in a fast-paced start up environment, must have strong attention to detail, and be an excellent oral and written communicator.
A passion for sustainability will be a plus.
Key job responsibilities
- Managing complex, cross functional programs with internal and external stakeholders. Driving project schedules across different initiatives, working through roadblocks to deliver new products on time and within budget.
- Working with Category Managers through the end to end process, from brief to launch, minimizing deviations versus the agreed plan.
- Leveraging data and performance metrics to drive business results
- Creating, maintaining, managing and monitoring continuous improvement projects to shorten lead times
- Developing and managing project timelines to support suppliers and category managers with manufacturing improvements, optimization and cost savings projects.
- Collaborating with other members of the Amazon PB Consumables team including Product Developers, Sourcing and Category Managers to lead a successful scale up process for new product lines.
- Traveling as needed to the different office buildings, or to meet with suppliers, agencies and key service providers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
