Your role
As a Purchasing Manager 3PM, your role will be to manage negotiations and acquisitions of products with third party manufacturers and coordinate availability of these products with the procurement team on our HQ in Barcelona within the Purchasing and Operations team.
Whatyouwill do
- Follow up purchasing contracts within the 3PM category and conduct the price negotiations with total cost ownership approach.
- Implement the strategy defined for the category in collaboration with the 3PM Category Manager.
- Follow up KPIS that foster improvement in the category.
- Manage the launch or relaunch of wet and snack products in collaboration with suppliers.
- Ensure availability of wet and snack products with the required quality level.
- Support Procurement team to ensure the finished products are getting on time following the budget.
- Support new Supplier Approvals and Quality follow in collaboration with Vendor Assurance and New Product Development.
- Support the implementation of Vendor’s Portal with the concerned suppliers.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years’ experience in Purchasing area, fast moving consumer goods, food or animal areas.
- University Degree
- English is a must.
- SAP user knowledge.
- Negotiation skills.
