As a Research Associate within BCG’s Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our European DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research specialized in Technology, Media and Telecoms topics, you will contribute to BCG’s client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives. You will clearly synthesize, package, articulate and deliver your findings in a timely and accurate manner and conduct research on a range of Media and technology related topics, while delivering meaningful insights.
Excellent organization skills are essential for successfully managing a variety of research requests by accurately summarizing data and insights into appropriate and timely output via email, Excel, PowerPoint, or Word formats. Along with supporting research products and case work you will also contribute to knowledge capture and documentation.

· You will have strong attention to detail by clarifying request objectives under direct supervision and discussing the most appropriate and timely research approach. You will do this whilst communicating directly with BCG stakeholders to evaluate and recommend the most efficient and successful research strategy per project

· Working closely with fellow DRS colleagues, you will approach all interactions with the highest level of quality and customer service. You will also guide outsourcing partners in their research analysis and do quality assurance

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
· Undergraduate degree minimum (a preference for a degree in business, technology or media)
· Understanding (and interest) in Media or Technology related topics ( Like Gaming, E-sports, Information services, IT services, Consumer Tech, etc)
· 0-2 years relevant working experience; preferably in market research, consulting, or TMT sector
· Fluent in English & Spanish; another language is a plus (German preferred)

The Data and Research Services (DRS) is BCG’s research center of expertise. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and client, enabling them with solution-oriented research and accelerated insight generation.
DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
