As an Android Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define new solutions:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Keep the best practices and patterns in mobile designs and development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship solutions
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

What you'll bring to us:

• +5/6 years of experience developing Android Applications with Kotlin
• Enjoys keeping up to date with industry trends and guidelines.
• Professional experience with Kotlin & Java.
• Experience working with Kotlin Multiplatform, and personal projects are also valid.
• Strong knowledge of Coroutines.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, developer tools, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Good understanding of Android architecture, patterns, dependency injection, and libraries (Dagger, Retrofit, LiveData, WebViews, Android ViewModel, Firebase).
• Develops across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to PlayStore and support.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a dynamic/fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the Gradle build system will be beneficial.
• Familiarity working with any CI/CD build system will be beneficial.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Nice to have: web application development with Javascript.
