The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within the firm to ensure that business objectives are met.
Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields.
The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure the growth of the organization’s technology portfolio through concept / idea formulation and prototype development in line with the business strategy, requirement, and specifications.
These individuals participate in the evolution and development of new innovative architectures and methods to maintain, upgrade, replace and improve the long-term performance of the existing architectures.
They will be required to interact with development teams, Project Managers and Business Analysts and create and / or translate business requirements into executable plans.
Working at NTT
- Provide primary technical and maintenance support for Windows, VMware, Virtualization Technologies, Azure Public Cloud.
- Knowledge of Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure networking and storage accounts,
- Experience with Azure VNET, VPN Gateway, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, Front Door, Traffic Manager, NSGs, Virtual WAN, and performance monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible for managing Azure IaaS.
- Experience with Azure Log Analytics, Azure Automation, Azure Monitor, and Azure Backup.
- Understanding of Salt Stack and Ansible for automation.
- Experience in Azure Stack Hub preferred.
- Experience with Azure Stack Hub infrastructure management, including deployment, configuration, and administration.
- Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates
- Provide L3 support for VMware vSphere / Azure IaaS or PaaS issues and incident resolution.
- Act as a subject matter expert for VMware vSphere and related technologies
- Design and implement VMware vSphere solutions based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for VMware vSphere environments.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning for VMware vSphere environments.
- Experience with vSphere Lifecycle Management (vLCM)
- Knowledge of VxRail and VMware Cloud Director
- Familiarity with VMware NSX-T and Site Recovery Manager
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to vSphere networking and storage.
- Experience with vSAN and performance monitoring tools
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible for managing vSphere environments.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of VMware vSphere with other systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for VMware vSphere environments and related processes.
- Experience with vRealize Log Insight and vRealize Automation
- Provide Level 3 support for Azure IaaS and act as a subject matter expert for Azure IaaS.
- Design and implement Azure IaaS solutions based on customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Azure IaaS.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning for Azure IaaS.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
