We design and deliver a wide range of products, software and services based on two core technologies : digital identification and data protection.
As part of an increase in activity, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager (PM) , you will manage the delivery of the customer’s solutions and services in accordance with predefined time, quality and cost criteria and as per contact.
Moreover, you will identify the customer’s needs and support the pre-sales activity for the existing and new customers.
What you are able to do :
Project management activity :
- Be accountable for on-time, on budget and on quality of all projects aspects in accordance with customer contract
- Be the main interface for the customer, delivery team and suppliers
- Build the master project plan and ensure that activities comply with contractual commitments
- Capture, complete and validate the customers' requirements in the Solution Requirements Specification
- Report project progress to Thales DIS management, customers' Project Managers and sponsors.
- Setup project budget, track projects costs while maintaining profitability
- Manage subcontracting deliveries and contract
- Manage project risks and impacts during the project and communicate on them
- Identify needs and request means to ensure project delivery
- Coordinate with the delivery center managers with regards to resources assignment
- Manage, coordinate, motivate and inform the project team
- Supervise and ensure quality of all deliverables part of the project (software, hardware, documentation, training, deployment, etc.)
- Implement the quality process according to in-house custom development rules (Custom Development Life Cycle (CDLC))
- Ensure the proper acceptance of a project in customer premises
- Ensure delivery scope as per contractual agreement and implement the change management process for any scope change.
- Identify lessons learned during the post-mortem meeting of each project and communicate them to the team in order to capitalize new knowledge
- Coordinate with the other Project Managers to create and develop knowledge sharing and promote reuse (best practices, reusable modules, etc.)
- Based on project experience, participate in the process improvement plan and best practices sharing
Pre-sales contribution / activity :
- Manage opportunities and change requests of Solutions and Services and coordinate offer preparation with the account manager
- Influence customers' needs and requirements based on customer knowledge and Thales DIS offer knowledge
- Identification and support to new business opportunities to existing customers
- Identify the customers' extra-needs during the project delivery and during the support & maintenance period to increase solutions and services upsales
Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Experience :
10 years of experience as Project Manager (PM) in the technological sector.
Knowledge :
- Engineering or Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Project Management Certification.
