The Opportunity
This is a great, creative and fun role in which you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s presence on Social media and in other digital spaces.
You will engage our target audiences through a variety of digital platforms. You will bring creativity and passion to conceptualizing, producing, and promoting compelling digital content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
This role combines editorial skills, storytelling, technical capability, copywriting, and a deep understanding of digital trends to produce content that captivates and inspires.
You will need to have excellent writing skills, and an ability to turn deeply technical information into copy that works for a wide non-technical audience.
We are looking for someone who can create a broad range of content for Social media, but the most important attribute is for you to be able to write, and think editorially about your subject matter.
In this role you will develop and produce high-quality digital content, including engaging copy, short-form and long-form video content, graphics, Social media posts, infographics, and motion graphics to tell our brand story effectively.
Work collaboratively with marketing managers, Social media managers, team members in integrated communications, subject matter experts, and other key internal stakeholders to agree an approach to maximise external awareness through content.
Creative input, strategy, and planning on Arup’s Social media channels, campaigns, and projects and support the external media team and Social media network across the globe, and other internal stakeholders in the delivery of Arup’s Social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X / Twitter, and YouTube).
Lead or partner with Social media workstreams / projects to improve creative processes, for example, templates, thumbnails, TOV etc.

Is this role right for you?
If so, you will have :
- Qualification in Communication, Multimedia Production, film production, visual arts, or a related field.
- Excellent written, storytelling, and verbal communication skills and an ability to write impactful Social media copy.
- Proven background in digital content creation, including portfolio examples and proficiency in graphic design and video editing software (e.
g., Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop etc).
Extensive knowledge and management of the post-production process : digital capture, editing, colour, retouching etc. and knowledge of digital still motion and audio content capture as well as strong appreciation of SEO and digital marketing principles.
