The Social Media Specialist at Didit plays a crucial role in bringing our brand to life on Social Media through the power of video content.
With a strong focus on producing engaging and eye-catching Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and other vertical formats, this position is at the forefront of showcasing our brand's essence in the most dynamic and engaging ways.
Whether it's through live interviews, humorous clips, or day-to-day snapshots of our brand in action, the Specialist ensures that our message is not only heard but visually experienced and enjoyed.
This role is key to connecting with our audience, making them feel a part of our world, and keeping them entertained and informed through creative and captivating video content
Your profile
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Video Content Creation & Publishing :
- Lead in crafting compelling video content, prioritizing Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other vertical formats to capture the essence of current social trends and platform-specific nuances.
- Collaborate with the Design team to incorporate stunning visual elements that align with the brand’s voice, ensuring our video content sets the trend across social platforms.
- Take charge of the entire video content lifecycle, from brainstorming and production to publishing, making it the cornerstone of our Social Media presence.
Support & Collaboration :
- Develop and implement a dynamic Social Media strategy, with a special focus on enhancing our video content offerings.
- Work together with the team to design and roll out campaigns that are rich in innovative video and audiovisual content, making our brand a visual standout.
- Coordinate the content calendar, ensuring video content is central to our marketing initiatives and aligned with broader marketing goals.
Engagement & Interaction :
- Actively engage with our audience through our video content, encouraging interactions, responding to comments, and building a vibrant community around our brand.
- Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer to boost engagement levels, with a particular focus on maximizing the impact of our video content.
Analytics & Reporting :
Monitor and analyze performance metrics for our video content across social platforms, leveraging insights to refine our strategy and enhance audience engagement.
Data Privacy Practices :
Guarantee that all video content creation and audience interactions adhere to the highest standards of data privacy, in line with ISO 27001 guidelines.
FRAMEWORK, BOUNDARIES OF WORK, AUTHORITY & DECISION MAKING
- Align with directives from the Chief Marketing Officer and Gamium’s overall marketing strategy.
- Granted authority to engage with the audience and post content under the guidance of the lead Chief Marketing Officer
- Consult with the lead for major content decisions or in rapid-response situations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in Social Media, with a focus on TikTok content creation and engagement.
- Demonstrated success in growing and engaging a TikTok audience.
Hard Skills :
- Proficiency in current Social Media platforms, understanding their features, trends, and algorithms of vertical format marketing.
- Familiarity with video editing software / tools like capcut or similar.
Soft Skills :
- Creativity and adaptability to leverage current social trends.
- Strong communication skills for effective audience engagement.
- Team collaboration aptitude to work closely with lead managers and other departments.
- Time management skills to handle content creation and posting schedules effectively.
