Description

Amazon is hiring a Sr Manager, DSP Analytics to join the EU Delivery Service Partner (DSP) team. The DSP team is building a world class last mile operation capable of exceeding the expectations of our customers. We ensure that customer orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible by a network of entrepreneurial owned and operated small businesses, our Delivery Service Partners.

As the Senior Manager, Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to build a new global organisation our DSP business lines (AMZL, AMXL, SWA, DSP lite etc.). The scope for this role will start with EU and Japan, but we expect the team to support more geographies and business lines. You will build and own our analytical tools, and build new business intelligence solutions end-to-end. To start with, you will lead a team of 4 business analysts to solve our most challenging problems and will be expected to grow and develop the team as the scope increases. You will work directly across all teams to provide valuable data-driven insights and recommendations. You will create reporting and analysis that the business will use to measure all aspects of operational performance and cost, and drive both incremental improvement to existing tools and processes and large-scale changes in our tools, user interfaces, processes and overall business organization. You will improve on and create standard metrics reporting and deliver on ad hoc requests. You will flex across core operational metrics and DSP behaviour metrics – linking the two and bringing proactive points of view to leadership, frequently before being prompted.

In addition to leading the design, development, and management of our analytical tools and reporting, we will look to this person to work in close consultation with the business leadership and constantly evaluate automation and efficiency improvements as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, experience in developing reporting and analytical infrastructures, strong communication skills, an ability to work effectively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment and highly ambiguous work space.
