Key Roles and Responsibilities :

Support peers and teams in the performance of duties and completion of Talent Acquisition work priorities.

Offer technical advice and knowledge to others within the recruitment and talent discipline.

Participate in the deployment of global projects in the region relating to the improvement of Talent Acquisition practices.

Engage with line managers when a new job opening occurs to help them identify the exact skill set required, the best approaches to recruit for the position, and to advise generally on the best method to fill the position for best long-term business results.

Source and identify qualified candidates in the marketplace for current and future job openings.

Work on strategic projects such as the development of competency-based interview guides which are mapped to the competencies mapped to current jobs.

Collate sources of information regarding candidates, including information from employment checks, and psychometric assessments, and discuss it with the hiring manager to facilitate an appropriate hiring decision.

Monitor and maintain internal and external job postings.

Ensure that all new hires are onboarded professionally and engagingly.

Extract the necessary data required for monthly and weekly reporting from the e-recruitment system and assist with the analysis of this data, preparing it for presentation to the relevant forums.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes :

Knowledge of Talent Acquisition strategies, best practices, and industry trends to attract and retain top talent.

Good understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and assessment to offer management and onboarding.

Knowledge of relevant labour laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to Talent Acquisition and candidate selection.

Stay updated on talent market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor analysis to inform Talent Acquisition strategies.

Seasoned experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other technology used to streamline the recruitment process.

Strong ability to proactively source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.

Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit to ensure the right match for the organisation.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and team members and to craft job adverts ensuring good quality adverts are posted to external sites.

Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with candidates, stakeholders, and external partners.

Utilises talent analytics and recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of Talent Acquisition efforts and make data-driven decisions.

Ability to adjust and adapt Talent Acquisition strategies to meet evolving business needs and market conditions.

Works collaboratively with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and recruitment needs.

Focuses on achieving measurable results and driving continuous improvement in Talent Acquisition outcomes.

Open to new ideas and embracing innovative recruitment practices and technologies.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications :

  • Relevant degree, e.g. Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (preferable)
  • Relevant certifications

Required Experience :

  • Seasoned experience in talent sourcing, candidate assessment, and implementing best practices to attract and hire top candidates.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Seasoned experience in developing and executing Talent Acquisition strategies aligned with the organisation's overall business objectives.
  • Seasoned understanding of talent analytics and recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of Talent Acquisition efforts and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and other stakeholders to align Talent Acquisition efforts with business needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant labour laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to Talent Acquisition and candidate selection.
