THE JOURNEY
- Monitor and improve over the General Accounting activity for all Group companies, involving continuous communication with local units
- Control of the intercompany figures
- Review local financial statements (income statement and balance sheet) for all Group companies, ensuring the same global criteria is used
- Complete assigned accounting activities to support the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
- Assist, as needed, with internal and external audits
- Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators ( KPIs ) and Service Level Agreements ( SLAs )
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP accounting rules, where applicable
- Operate within a robust and internal control environment
- Actively and recurrently participate in the elaboration of the consolidated financial statements
- Define Key accounting information (global accounting policies, common chart of accounts, official communications, etc.)
What You Will Bring To The Ride
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end / year end close process
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Experience with ERP
- Consolidation and corporate operations knowledge
- Good vibes + team player
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
