Job Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager of the entity, and functionally to the regional Industrial Controller, you will be responsible for the financial, accounting, and administrative management of our Spanish entity.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks :
- Accounting :
- Account receivable : entry of cash receipts and monitoring of outstanding receivables...
- Account payable : entry of all movements, preparation of payments and monitoring of accounts...
- Spanish statutory accounting / tax / USGAAP :
- Take charge of the company's accounting.
- Cash flow monitoring and contact with the banks.
- Monthly closing and closing of annual accounts under Spanish standards.
- Convert accounts to USGAAP.
- Take charge of the preparation of tax returns.
- Take charge of relations with statutory auditors.
- Administration :
- Take charge of the preparation of payroll and the corresponding social security within its scope.
- More generally, handles administrative follow-up for the entity.
- Ensures administrative management of import / export sales.
- Controlling :
- Participates in the production and analysis of monthly reporting.
- Participates in monitoring purchasing costs and inventory.
- Budget process :
- Participates in the construction and monitoring of the budget process within its scope.
- Participates in the construction and monitoring of forecasts within its perimeter.
- Accounting and financial reporting :
- Definition and monitoring of appropriate indicators.
- Participation in department meetings.
- Participates in reporting meetings for his / her entity.
- Produce site and group reports.
- Projects :
- Leads and / or participates in accounting, admin, controlling and financial projects.
- Internal control :
- Ensures compliance with SOX procedures within its perimeter.
Skills and requirements
Skills :
- Strong ability to work in a cross functional environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high degree of accuracy.
- Work under confidentiality and business ethics.
- Demonstrated proficiency using advanced functions in Microsoft office, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and SAP is a plus.
Job Requirements :
- Spanish and English fluently (speaking, reading, writing).
- Degree in accounting, finance, tax.
- Must have 3 years of professional experience with demonstrated understanding in AP area.
