We are hiring Associate, Strategy & Business Intelligence based in Rotterdam location, who will Manages and further expands Hitachi Energy’s Strategy and Business Intelligence efforts to support strategic projects and decision making.
This role has the unique opportunity to drive strategic development and collaborate on expanding Hitachi Energy market leadership, while working towards the electric energy system of future.
Your responsibilities :
- You will be working with a variety of different (oftentimes more senior) stakeholders across the organization, and a globally dispersed team.
- You will be driving analyses with high level of attention to detail, producing output for EC level discussion.
- Continuously involved in dealing with limited data availability and data ambiguity.
- Staying on top of the developments in the Hitachi Energy relevant geographies and markets.
- High flexibility and quick switching between topics with varying priorities and urgency.
- Living Hitachi energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background :
- You hold a university degree.
- You have 3-5 years’ experience on strategy or consulting.
- Advantageous to have excellent excel modelling and power point skills, excellent research skills & creativity to challenge perspectives.
- You have a demonstrated ability to think analytically & strategically and drive forward projects independently.
- You have knowledge on financial analysis skills e.g. to interpret competitor financial performance.
- Ability to take the lead in a globally dispersed, oftentimes more senior, team.
- You have knowledge on Hitachi Energy segments, key competitors and customers is preferred with
- growth mindset with ability and drive to learn continuously.
- Keen interest in global (macro)economic developments and Hitachi Energy’s markets or customers or competitors.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken along with Strong oral and written communication skills.
