Viva’s Marketplace Team sits within the Global Business Development Division, which amongst other things manages and owns commercial relationships with our enterprise partners and clients.

In the Marketplace team, you'll have an exciting opportunity to own and negotiate strategic deals that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom-line performance.

You'll work with supporting business teams to help Viva deliver fantastic products into its quickly growing roster of platform clients, while achieving lasting and sustainable relationships that offer the company scale-up and cross-sell opportunities.

What you will do

  • As part of the Viva Marketplace team, accountability will not just be focused on identifying, engaging and recruiting a compelling suite of platform clients into our payments ecosystem, however it will be a large part of your weekly and monthly tasks;
  • Maintain a pipeline for new platform and marketplace clients, prioritising companies of high growth, using a data driven approach that aligns with our strategy;
  • Working with the regional sales teams to sign and onboard new clients to sellers to the Viva marketplace platform and work closely with them on Commerciality, GTM, Scalability, Cross-Selling and Growth, in co-ordination with Viva’s global teams and offices;
  • Identify areas for future Marketplace growth based on understanding of commercial performance and client opportunity in respective markets;
  • Work with the Viva Success Teams to manage platform clients in order to manage their accounts and ensure we achieve the commercial outcomes set out for the Marketplace Division;
  • Work alongside the Viva Enterprise colleagues to develop and execute organisational strategies and manage the Cross Functional Synergies of the Marketplace Division across the appropriate stakeholders

Requirements

  • A well-developed understanding of the platform economy, 2-sided business models and the economics that surround them;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Strategy formulation and Business Development experience;
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and model client growth;
  • Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills;
  • Strong Cross-Team Experience and Management;
  • Fluent in English and the country local language
