Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Legal GDPR Executive to join Europe's largest airline group.
This is a full time role reporting directly to the Head of Customer Service Legal where the successful candidate will have a strong interest in GDPR, be highly self-motivated, and driven to improve GDPR processes and case handling in the Customer Service department.
The successful candidate will be expected to :
- Process GDPR- and EU261-related requests
- Process Subject Access (SAR) requests
- Review and process OneTrust cases and Phrase Detection cases
- Work to improve the accuracy of our internal procedures to ensure GDPR-related requests are captured by our systems or manually reported by team members
- Assist DPO with the investigation of data breaches
- Provide regular support to the Customer Service Legal team and DPO
- Support and mentor the GDPR Coordinator
- Respond to GDPR-related queries from internal and external Customer Service teams
- Prepare and present ongoing GDPR training materials
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on vendor management, governance and the preparation of Data Protection Agreements and related documents
- Work on a variety of ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements
- Interest in GDPR legislation
- Legal qualifications or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to deal with tight deadlines
- Experience working with Regulation EU261
- Numerate and comfortable working with data
- Interest in the aviation industry and Customer Service
- Customer oriented
- Fluency in European languages would be highly regarded
- Excellent organisational, record keeping and communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite
