In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
Supporting the Strategic Accounts and Domestic Projects in the region.
Working with and supporting the Strategic Account Engineer providing custom solutions.
Working with the local project teams to support the execution of the Domestic Projects.
Assist the Sales team with CD&E reviews and localized specifications.
Provide technical support within your expertise to the Engineering team for all projects within the region.
Create and design solutions for common needs across customers and projects.
Work together with a selected group of Suppliers and drive efforts of standardization and effectiveness across the Projects in Europe.
Work with local suppliers to aid in the designs, create workflows and ensure correct communication of Cummins needs.
Be the local point of contact for these Suppliers in your field of expertise.
Show ownership in the technical proposals and lead the assigned Technical Meetings for the Project.
Analyze and understand customer requirements and specifications in order to create and review Technical Submittals.
Provide support through the lifecycle of the projects and assist in solving issues or creation of Root Cause Analysis.
Team collaboration Work as a Specialist in your field and as collaborator for your colleagues working on other accounts / projects.

Ensuring Technical Data is stored and named correctly Own the process of communication and data transfer for the Projects.
Keep track of the technical challenges and opportunities by capturing the information of all relevant Stakeholders in Lessons Learned.
Being able to produce electrical schematics and cable schedules in Eplan or AutoCAD Electric.
Supporting the projects on-site with Technical Expertise during the execution and commissioning.
Champion Safety and Serviceability in your designs and solutions.
Collaborate with colleagues to come to the best technical / commercial solution where different expertise’s are required.
Ensure competitiveness of the proposals and technical designs and work with the various Stakeholders to provide the best solution.
Working with team members across the region and participate in cross functional team meetings and workshops.
Align and share common practices within the Engineering Team.
Provide the voice of the Suppliers / Customers and Local teams you are working with.
Learn and implement solutions and designs from other regions / suppliers / customers.
Experience required
Prior Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
Knowledge of MS Office tools, CAD (electrical and / or mechanical) is required.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
