Job overview and responsibilities
This role provides pivotal support to the HR Manager/Director and Business Leadership in their assigned countries by supporting them in aligning day to day HR activities with the business needs and goals. This role will coordinate with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to leverage capabilities in support of our HR initiatives and leveraging their expertise to business needs and coordinate daily operational HR activities and leverage their expertise to business needs.
As a part of the role, the HR Rep will provide centralized HR Operations support to their assigned countries, which includes creating and managing centralized HR Operations process such as sickness absence reporting, invoice processing, onboarding, off boarding, People Soft data management etc.
Provide support to HR life cycle support for their assigned countries, which includes creating and managing centralized HR Operations processes such as creation and management of onboarding and offboarding processes, including the creation of offers and contracts, sickness absence reporting/management, and other relevant HR Operations activity.
Provide day-to-day HR support including leadership coaching, policy guidance and interpretation, and driving resolution to inquiries in assigned client groups and countries, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Work with the local recruiter on hiring needs for stakeholders, supporting best practice hiring.
Manage employee database to ensure accurate organizational structure and employee data is maintained in people soft and employee master trackers
Provide support to employees and leaders in various HR-related topics such as leave management, insurance renewals, compensation, etc and manage employee relations activity from outset to completion according to local legislation
Support the HR director/manager in the delivery of new initiatives and be the first point of contact for assigned countries
This position could be located in Rome, Milan or Madrid
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
2+ years or relevant experience in HR (from benefits admin, performance reviews, employee relations matters, invoices, onboarding, etc).
Attention to detail with good analytical and process management skills.
Knowledge of local labor laws
Ability to travel internationally
Must be legally authorized to work in the European Union for any employer without sponsorship
Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
Master's degree
Previous experience supporting more countries / international experience
Experience in handling countries in Middle East, India and Africa
Experience supporting frontline groups of employees
Any other European language
