What you can look forward to
- As aTest Automation Engineer you are responsible for the design andimplementation of automated test scripts for software applicationsto improve the efficiency and repeatability of tests
- With your expertise, you contribute to the developmentand maintenance of test frameworks and infrastructures to supporttest automation and ensure scalability
- Youdesign automated test cases based on requirements andspecifications and drive the continuous development andoptimization of test scripts
- You areresponsible for executing automated tests, monitoring test runs andanalyzing the results
- You are in closecontact with the development team when identifying errors
- You oversee the maintenance and updating ofautomated test scripts according to changes in the softwareapplication
- You work closely withdevelopers, test managers and other team members to ensureeffective test automation in the development process
Your profile
- A degree in computer science and several years ofrelevant professional experience
- Severalyears of experience in (agile) software development for web / appapplications
- You have experience inprogramming, preferably in scripting languages such as Python, Javaand JavaScript
- You have demonstrableexperience in the use of test automation tools such as Selenium,Appium, JUnit, Robot Framework or similar
- You are familiar with Continuous Integration (CI) and ContinuousDeployment (CD) processes and their integration into the test cycle
- Understanding of test methods and a highlevel of analytical thinking
- You have anindependent way of working and the motivation to proactively findsolutions to challenges in test automation
- Strong communication, cooperation and teamwork skills make you areal team player
