IT specialist in application operations forcore banking systems (f / m / d)
We offermultifaceted tasks
- We need youfor this! Perform architecture consulting, formulate and coordinatesoftware requirements, perform operational tests, prepare and carryout deployments, monitor applications, analyze and fix errors.
- and much more - on various technical platforms for around 60application systems in the area of core banking systems, the heartof the bank, from accounting to payment and credit systems.
- You take responsibility and ensure thetrouble-free operation of your applications - throughout theirentire lifecycle. Your applications are both in-house developmentsin Java and PL1, as well as standard products - specializedmarket-standard tools.
Our platforms are zOS, Windows, Linux andOpenShift.
You influence change byaccompanying the software change! To ensure that your applicationsfit smoothly into ongoing operations, you create operationalrequirements and incorporate them into the concept.
Finally, youcheck the result using test cases you have created, which you cancarry out manually or automatically.
Youimplement the changes by making them productive. To do this, youcheck the requirements, orchestrate all those involved and carryout the deployments.
This ensures a successful rollout andsatisfied customers.
- You will ensure stableoperation by monitoring the applications using technical means,identifying potential faults at an early stage and rectifying anyfaults that do occur as quickly as possible in contact withcustomers and other IT teams.
- To ensure thatyou always stay ahead of the wave in our demanding environment, weoffer you the freedom for professional, methodical and personaldevelopment.
What you bring withyou
You have a university degreein computer science, business informatics, information andtelecommunications technology or mathematics / physics.
Or you are atrained IT specialist, or perhaps you have another comparablequalification.
- Your wealth of experienceincludes a good understanding of software architectures andknowledge of one of the relevant platforms (z / OS, Windows, Linux,Open Shift).
- You are familiar with the tasksof application operations and the ITIL process model
- Basic banking knowledge is not a prerequisite, but willmake it easier for you to familiarize yourself with finance and theworking environment at KfW.
- You communicatewith customers and colleagues, find compromises, but are not afraidto stand your ground. You also speak business fluent German.
- This job is about smooth software processesand bank-critical applications, so we place a lot of emphasis onprecise work, analytical thinking and considered, risk-awaredecisions.
