THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and data-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. As Operations Specialist, reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Alohas transportation and warehousing (inbound and outbound).
Also managing multiple projects as directed to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Manage the execution, direction and coordination of all logistics and transportation-related activities within the organization.
- Management of logistics operators, transport partners and other consignees involved in the department's operations.
- Identify and recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, and equipment.
- Maintain excellent peer relationships that foster open communication and collaboration with the intent of positively impacting the organization's results.
- Manage the import well as exporting of goods going along with customs and duties.
- Ensuring that shipments comply with domestic laws as well as international export.
- Utilize planning and execution skills to set departmental and individual performance goals and priorities.
- Define and document SOPs, Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitor and report operations KPI, according to established SLAs as well as solve bottlenecks in the network.
- Be able to manage and analyze data from different sources to develop logistics operations KPI and SLAs.
YOU WILL ROCK AT THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE...
- 3-5 experience of Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations Management, Engineering. Highly preferable with the knowledge export processes and logistics network management.
- Strong data analysis skills, along with the problem-solving capabilities, perform reports as needed.
- Completed Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade Degree, Logistics Management, Engineering etc.
- Spanish and English excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate across business areas.
- Project Management experience.
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels proven business writing and executive level communication skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, with a strong desire to succeed.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and requirements.
- High level of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Access).
- Ability to adapt to new and complex technologies.
- Ability to work across sales channels and value streams.
