The People Operations team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the employee journey at Preply, including onboarding, total rewards and benefits, HR systems and analytics as well as key HR projects such as employee engagement, career development and frameworks and others.
As a People Operations Manager, you will :
- Report to the Global Director of People Operations and leading a team of 3 you will be responsible for further defining our global people operations strategy as well as the day to day operational processes and activities.
- Continuously coach and develop a high-performing team of HR operations professionals around the globe.
- Work closely with our People Partners, Talent Acquisition teams and other business stakeholders on all operational matters regarding our employees across the employee lifecycle- from onboarding to offboarding.
- Further refine our operational excellence and efficiency through review of core HR systems.
- Identify opportunities to design new processes and improve existing programs and the way we do things, to keep shaping powerful moments along the employee journey.
- Be the key point of contact for global operational topics as we continue to grow and hire worldwide.
- Handle any employment relations matters professionally, swiftly, and in strong collaboration with our legal and People partners.
What we are looking for :
- You are an operations expert and have 5+ years of international experience in People Operations or HR services.
- You have a strong knowledge of Spanish labour laws regulations and best practice HR policies with global exposure preferred - e.
g. in USA or across Europe.
- You love systems of any kind, with some exposure or understanding of systems like BambooHR, 15Five, Greenhouse and CultureAmp (or others like these).
- You have excellent project management skills and are able to optimize processes constantly.
- You have the ability to lead and inspire your team through multiple challenges.
- You have high levels of empathy and ability to create trust and engagement with stakeholders in and outside of HR.
- You are a creative problem solver that is able to handle large amounts of data and structure it into a meaningful analysis.
- You are fluent in English (Spanish is a bonus).
