Working as a Project Engineer, you will be part of the team that designs, develops and leads the integration of the AMR product catalog: Flexley Tug, Flexley Mover and Flexley Stack, in the different work environments, as well as the implementation of the different technical - technological solutions applied. , being part of a high performance team providing technical details, deadlines and deliverables. The work is developed in the facilities of ABB in Madrigalejo del Monte in Spain and in each of the facilities of our clients inside and outside Spain with an approximate estimate of 40%.

In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of client projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

• To ensure the clear identification and definition of technical requirements and requirements.
• Carry out the precise and necessary actions to ensure that the development of the system covers the requirements identified in the analysis and design, within the safety standards.
• To ensure the adequate validation of the solution to be implemented within the foreseen period at the lowest possible cost, identifying and correcting the different problems that appear.
• Management and development of the PEM to ensure the proper implementation of the proposed system in the client's facilities within the expected period at the lowest possible cost.
• Create and deliver the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
• Safety management to ensure the reduction of occupational risks and the elimination of accidents in the development of the project and in the final start-up phase.
• Ensure clear, valid, reliable, and technically accurate documentation during the development of the process, developed in time and time.
• Assist project managers and lead Project Engineers in technical reviews, and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers and in the resolution of technical problems, both remotely and at customer sites inside and outside Spain.

Your background

• Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in customer service and incident resolution (preferably abroad), working as technical or technical manager of implementation with PLC programming environments.
• Solid knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including PLC programming under IEC61131 and structured text (ST).
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• A Technical/Higher Degree in Industrial, Industrial Electronics, Robotics, Telecommunications or similar or Vocational Training Higher Degree - Automatic Regulation and Control Systems or a similar field.
• Professional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and written.
