Our client is a benchmarking company in the sector, offering skincare and cosmetic products with high-quality standards. They are currently seeking an Accountant to join their Finance team in Barcelona.

Tasks
Perform accounting tasks : general accounting and invoices entries; accounting leasing, loans, VISAs, cash; classify invoices and expenses;
monthly amortization and actualizing Excel file; payment entries; and receipts from customers entries.
- Production and submission of annual tax returns and other tax submissions as required
- Collaborate with external auditors and issue all documentation for the audit process
- Prepare monthly inventories, making sure that all purchases get into the stock with the correct price and quantity
- Assistance with system implementations (SAP) and other projects as required
- You will report to the CFO (based in South Africa)
Requirements
- Native level of Spanish and full professional level of English
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or similar education
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in all the relevant functions within accounting in a corporate environment
- Extensive knowledge and experience with all Spanish tax laws and requirements
- Proficiency with SAP is a plus
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular of Excel
- Good communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and great emotional intelligence skills
